Online scheduling and business email

Stop juggling a paper calendar, a phone and a notebook. Customers book on your website, get confirmations and reminders automatically, and email you at your own domain.

Published Updated By Remidiy

Short answer: Remidiy sets up online booking embedded on your own website, automatic confirmations and reminders for every appointment, and branded business email at your domain, then manages them for you.

It's for appointment-based and service businesses still running their day from a paper calendar, a phone and a notebook. Setup is a fixed one-time price; ongoing management is a monthly subscription tier.

Every booking taken by phone costs a few minutes and happens during business hours. Every reminder you forget to send risks an empty slot. Every quote sent from a free webmail address makes a business look smaller than it is. None of that needs to be manual, and none of it needs you to become the IT department.

What's included

  • Online booking embedded on your site. Customers choose a service and a time on your website, at any hour, instead of calling.
  • Automated confirmations and reminders. Each booking gets an automatic confirmation, and customers get reminders before their appointment.
  • Branded business email, set up and managed. Addresses at your own domain, with the DNS records that go with them handled for you.

Scheduling pairs naturally with follow-ups after the visit, covered in customer engagement and automation, and with the website itself, covered in web development.

How it works

  1. Audit. A short discovery call, then a written audit of where you stand online. Together we work out which pieces you actually need: booking, email or both.
  2. Build. We set up the pieces you chose, alone or with your site, profile or automation. Fixed scope, fixed price, quoted up front.
  3. Manage. A monthly subscription tier matched to what we're managing for you, billed predictably and scaled to your actual needs.

How pricing works

A one-time setup fee covers the audit, build and onboarding, including email and DNS setup. It's a fixed scope at a fixed price, quoted after a short discovery call. A tiered monthly subscription covers ongoing updates, maintenance, monitoring and support. We don't publish dollar amounts, and there's no hourly billing or hidden fees.

What good online booking looks like

Whoever sets yours up, check for these:

  • It lives on your website. Customers book without being sent to an unfamiliar site, and it works properly on a phone.
  • It shows real availability. Only times you can actually take, with the right length for each service and any gap you need between appointments.
  • The confirmation answers the obvious questions. What was booked, when, where (with an address that opens in maps) and how to change it.
  • Reminders make changing easy. A reschedule or cancel link means a customer who can't come frees the slot rather than simply not turning up.
  • It fits how you work. Bookings land where you and your staff already look, and your cancellation policy is stated before the customer confirms.

What good business email looks like

Branded email means addresses like [email protected] instead of a free webmail account. Beyond looking professional, a good setup should have:

  • Authentication records in DNS. SPF lists the servers allowed to send mail for your domain, DKIM adds a signature that proves a message wasn't altered, and DMARC tells receiving servers what to do when a message fails those checks. Gmail requires every sender to set up SPF or DKIM, and senders of more than 5,000 messages a day to Gmail accounts must have SPF, DKIM and DMARC (Gmail email sender guidelines). Our SPF, DKIM and DMARC guide explains each record.
  • Accounts the business controls. Personal mailboxes for the people who need them and shared addresses (such as bookings@ or info@) that can be passed on when someone leaves.
  • A domain that doesn't lapse. If your domain expires, your email stops along with your website. See domain expiration.

Questions to ask any provider

  • Does the booking tool sync with the calendar I already use, and who gets notified of a new booking?
  • Can customers book without creating an account?
  • Can I change the wording of confirmations and reminders?
  • Who sets up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for my domain, and who fixes them if something changes?
  • What happens to my existing email when we switch, and how are the old messages handled?

What to have ready

  • Your services, how long each takes, and who on your team performs them.
  • Your hours and booking rules: how far ahead people can book, the notice you need, your cancellation policy.
  • How you take bookings today: calendar, app or paper.
  • Who needs an email address, and which shared addresses you'd like.
  • Where your domain is registered and who has the login, plus your current email provider if you have one.

Common questions

Can customers book appointments directly on my website?

Yes. We embed online booking on your site, so customers pick a service and a time without leaving your website, and they receive an automatic confirmation and reminders.

Do appointment reminders really reduce no-shows?

A reminder gives customers a prompt to show up and an easy way to reschedule or cancel, which frees the slot for someone else. Results vary by business, so judge yours by tracking missed appointments before and after.

Why use a business email address instead of Gmail or Yahoo?

An address at your own domain, like [email protected], looks more trustworthy, matches your website, and stays with the business when staff change. With your domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC records set, it's also easier to get delivered.

Do I need my own domain name for business email?

Yes. Branded email runs on the same domain as your website. If you already own one, we set email up on it; if you don't yet, we'll talk it through on the discovery call.

How is scheduling and email setup priced?

Setup is part of Remidiy's one-time setup fee, a fixed price quoted after a free discovery call. Managing it afterwards is covered by your monthly subscription tier. There's no hourly billing and there are no surprise add-ons.

Book a free discovery call. Tell us how you take bookings today and what email you use, and we'll suggest what's worth changing. We reply within one business day, usually sooner. Contact Remidiy, email [email protected] or call (914) 222-3310.
