Privacy policy
What we collect, why, who else sees it, and how long we keep it. Written to be read.
Short version: the website checker keeps the address you checked and the result for 90 days; your name and email only if you ask us for help, until we have handled your request. We don't sell or share personal data. Questions or deletion requests: [email protected].
Who we are
Remidiy, LLC, 418 Broadway Ste R, Albany, NY 12207, United States. [email protected], (914) 222-3310.
The website checker (remidiy.com/check)
When you check a website address we record: the address, the result (the PHP verdict, the health score and the list of findings), the time, and a short code derived from your network address that lets us count distinct visitors without storing the address itself. We keep these records for 90 days. We use them to run the service (rate limits, caching), to keep it working, and in aggregate form for statistics like the ones in our report, which never identify a business or a person.
To produce the report, our server makes the following requests, and no others: it loads the homepage of the address you entered the way a browser does (over https, and over plain http if https fails); it looks at the first answer from http://that-address/; it reads that site's public robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt; it looks up the domain's public DNS records (MX, SPF, DMARC); and it asks the domain's registry (via the public RDAP service) for the registration's expiry date and registrar. For the Speed section it asks Google's PageSpeed Insights to measure the address you entered; Google receives that address and nothing about you. The checker does not log in to, submit anything to, scan or probe any site.
If you ask us for help
If you fill in the “want us to sort it out?” form we store your name, your email address, the address you checked and its result, and we email ourselves the same so we can reply. We use it only to reply to you and, if you become a client, to do the work. We keep it until your request is handled, or for as long as we work together. If you'd rather we delete it, email us and we will.
The contact form
Messages sent through the contact form are emailed to us (through Google Workspace) with the time and your network address, which our mail relay records to prevent abuse. We keep messages for as long as we're in conversation with you.
Services we rely on
- Cloudflare serves the site and protects it; Cloudflare sees your network address, as any host does. If a bot check (Turnstile) is shown, it runs on Cloudflare.
- Google: PageSpeed Insights (the address you check), Google Workspace (our email), and Google Fonts (the fonts on this site; your browser fetches them from Google).
- Domain registries (via RDAP) for the public registration record of a domain you check.
We do not run advertising trackers. If we add a privacy-friendly visitor counter (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies), we will say so here.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our using it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll answer within 30 days. The site sets no cookies of its own.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Effective October 21, 2026.
